The Embassy estimates that there are up to 2,000 Irish citizens resident in Israel. The vast majority of these are emigrants from Ireland, who came to Israel in the 1960s and 1970s, and their descendents. There are also Irish citizens married to Israelis or working for Israeli and Multinational companies, primarily in the High Tech sector.
Irish citizens in Israel are encouraged to register with the Embassy. The Embassy also maintains an email circulation list for Irish citizens. This is used to disseminate information on consular developments as well as cultural events of interest to the Irish community. If you would like to be included on the email circulation list, please contact Sheilah Harris on +972 3 696 4166 ext. 103 or by email here.
